City of Helen Road Repair

The City of Helen Public Works Department will be repairing several small areas of three city roads starting Tuesday morning. An area on Edelweiss Strasse in front of the Festhalle will be repaired. This will cause traffic to be detoured around the area using Tannen Weg and Chattahoochee Strasse. An area on Chattahoochee Strasse in front of the Helen Arts and Heritage Center will be repaired in one lane. Please proceed with caution around the area. The third location will be on Brucken Strasse close to Loreley. This will only effect one lane as well, so please proceed with caution around the area. Concrete will be poured on Tuesday morning, and each area will be blocked off for three days and should be opened back up on Friday. If you have any questions, call City Hall at 706-878-2733.
