The City of Helen Fire Department, located 80 miles northeast of
Atlanta, Georgia, is a combination paid / volunteer department.
We respond calls in the northern part of White county. Our response
area includes part of the Chattahoochee National Forest area. The
city of Helen's current ISO rating is 4. The Helen Fire
Department is also home of White County EMS North Zone.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Helen Fire Department is to protect the lives
and property of the citizens and visitors to Helen, by providing the
highest possible levels of service through Fire Prevention, Public
Education, Fire Suppression, and mitigation of the effects of natural
and manmade disasters.
